Jing is an award-winning, internationally recognised centre of excellence, driven by passion, innovation, and heart. Beyond a massage school, Jing is a thriving community dedicated to making exceptional massage and complementary medicine education accessible to all, from complete beginners to experienced practitioners.
Founded by visionary leaders Rachel Fairweather and Meghan S. Mari, Jing has trained thousands of therapists in tried and tested techniques for treating chronic pain. What began as a close-knit group of a handful of students learning advanced techniques in community spaces – even in Rachel and Meghan’s living room – has blossomed into the largest and most critically acclaimed institute for massage, soft-tissue, and complementary medicine in the UK and Europe.
With over 20,000 students having trained under their guidance, Meghan and Rachel are deeply proud of every single one of them and the ever-growing ripple effect they’re creating in the world of therapeutic bodywork.
Launched in 2015, the best-selling massage text book Massage Fusion: The Jing Method quickly became known as the Massage Bible for thousands of massage therapists internationally. The book launch event (pictured above) marked a significant milestone in the field. This ground breaking text combines chapters on deep tissue, myofascial, and Eastern approaches into a cohesive and accessible system – empowering practitioners to deliver exceptional therapeutic results with confidence and clarity.

Make a real difference

Jing began nearly 25 years ago when founders Rachel Fairweather and Meghan Mari met in New York and discovered a shared vision: to create massage education that’s expert, evidence-based, and deeply human.
Their first courses were taught in their living room. Driven by passion, they travelled the UK sharing their innovative, hands-on approach. Word spread, and Jing grew, therapist by therapist.
Today, Jing is the UK’s largest and most respected massage training school, with over 20,000 students and a reputation for excellence.
Rachel and Meghan pioneered the UK’s first BTEC Level 6 in Advanced Clinical & Sports Massage which set a new standard for the massage profession. They’ve built a team of dedicated educators who blend rigorous training with a heart-led, student-centred approach.
At Jing, learning is about more than technique. It’s about growing with confidence, building connection, and making a lasting impact. For over two decades, we’ve empowered therapists to build careers they love and change lives through their work.
Join the Jing community and discover what’s possible when education comes from the head, heart, and hands.
