“One who works with the hands is a labourer. One who works with the hands and the head is a craftsman. One who works with the hands, the head, and the heart is an artist.”
— St. Francis of Assisi
At our massage clinic in the heart of Brighton, we combine the art and science of advanced clinical massage to bring you transformative pain relief and expert care. This is not your average massage clinic—this is where the future of bodywork is shaped.
As the flagship clinic of the internationally acclaimed Jing Institute, our treatment space is staffed by the very best: senior therapists, teachers, and the directors of Jing themselves, who bring decades of clinical expertise, research, and teaching into every session. We also mentor the next generation of expert therapists trained in the Jing Method—over 10,000 of whom now practise worldwide.
Clinical massage is a results-driven approach that blends the best of Eastern and Western bodywork techniques to address both chronic pain and stress-related conditions. It’s more than relaxation—it’s a targeted treatment designed to help you feel measurable change, often in as little as 1–6 sessions.
Expect a highly personalised approach that may include deep tissue massage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, acupressure, stretching, hot stone therapy, and more—each session carefully tailored to your specific needs and goals.
Whether you’re recovering from injury, managing a long-term pain condition, or simply seeking world-class bodywork, our integrated approach is designed to bring you real results—physically, mentally, and emotionally.
At your first session, your therapist will take time to understand your health history, lifestyle, and goals. From there, they’ll develop a custom treatment plan that adapts as your body responds – whether that means focusing on one issue over several weeks or addressing multiple areas in one deeply therapeutic session.
Every treatment is delivered with care, clinical precision, and the unique Jing blend of hands-on skill, scientific insight, and heart-centred practice.
Finding the Clinic
The clinic is at the back of 6 St George’s Place, with its own entrance. Please follow these directions alongside your sat nav.
On Foot / By Train
From Brighton Station (5–10 mins): walk down Trafalgar St, turn right into Sydney St, then first left into Gloucester St. Near the bottom, turn left into the narrow alleyway opposite the Metalworks building. No. 6 is on the right, just past the parking.
From the A23 (London Road)
Turn into Gloucester St next to the North Laine Pub & Brewery at the lights. Take the first right into a narrow alleyway (not St George’s Mews). Follow through to the parking area—No. 6 is on the right.
By Car
Same directions as above from the A23. There is one parking space in front of the clinic (ask your therapist for a permit). Otherwise, use Whitecross St car parks (NCP or Pelham College) or Brighton Station.
⚠️ Please note: Bus lanes operate nearby—check signs to avoid fines.

Our aim is simple, as a group of Jing trained massage therapists, we believe everyone deserves access to safe and affordable bodywork. We are delighted to be able to offer more ways of making this available at the ‘Queer Clinic’ by the Jing Institute.
On the first Monday of every month, we will be offering a limited number of affordable massages for people from the LGBTQ+ community (aged 18 and over) on a sliding scale starting from £30-£60.
Our offer is for a 1 hour holistic relaxation or clinical massage that, following a consultation, will be tailored to suit your needs.
All therapists are trained in trans inclusivity, are qualified to treat pain conditions, and most importantly are experts in safe touch. Everyone deserves access to good body-work and we are delighted to be able to offer more ways of making this available!

If you have any questions, please email Lucy at: queerclinic@jingmassage.com
Upon booking you can choose to pay anything between £30-£60.
No questions asked, you will receive the same high-quality level of treatment no matter how much you can afford to pay.
Payment can be cash or card when you arrive for your appointment.
On arrival to the Queer Clinic (at the Jing Institute, 28-29 Bond Street, Brighton BN1 1RD), one of our therapists will greet you and take you through to our beautiful, light-filled upstairs studio where you will go into one of the screened-off massage spaces.
As a shared space please be mindful of arriving on time (no more than 5 minutes before your appointment to minimise disruption).
From here, you will then be guided through the consultation process with your allocated therapist so they can tailor the massage to suit your needs.
Once your treatment plan has been agreed, we will then leave you in privacy to get changed ready for your 1 hour massage (box provided for your clothes and possessions). As a shared space all therapists will aim to begin and end around the same time, with calming music throughout. At the end of your treatment you will have some time to relax and get dressed before our next session. We recommend you continue to have a relaxing evening and hope to see you for further treatments in the future.
We can’t wait to see you at the clinic!
